If you’ve had your eye on a Gippsland getaway, there’s no place like Glen Cromie Reserve Caravan Park.
The park is located in Drouin West, right beside the Tarago River—which means saying hello to riverside picnics, swimming spots, catch and release fishing, and birdwatching. Along with walking trails, playgrounds, and large green spaces to play sports and outdoor games, there are BBQs, shelter hire, and picnic tables to share meals in the sunshine. The park also has convenient facilities including bike hire, van storage, clean amenities, laundry machines, and an office shop.
There are plenty of grassy powered and unpowered sites, with some in prime position on the riverfront, for campers to unwind and enjoy the nature setting. If you prefer self-contained accommodation, the park has a pair of cabins that sleep up to four and six guests respectively. Cabin 1 has two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and private bathroom, while Cabin 2 comes with a camp-style kitchen and decking, private bathroom, two bedrooms, and an accessible ramp.
The Gippsland region is bursting with things to see and do, not to mention a brilliant food and wine scene. Warragul is just 10 minutes away by car, or you can hire a bike and ride the Two Towns Cycling Trail from Drouin. Families and thrill seekers will love a theme park excursion to Gumbuya World or snow play at Mt Baw Baw in the winter season. When it comes to waterfall spotting, Toorongo Falls and Amphitheatre Falls are the most well-known in the region, but the thunderous Narracan Falls make for another great visit. Further out, a few hours on the road will take you to the penguins of Phillip Island or the nature paradise of Wilsons Promontory.
If you like days full of exploration with a peaceful caravan park to call home after your adventures, Glen Cromie Reserve Caravan Park is the one for you. Book your stay today!
