Enjoy a blissful stay at Whitton Malt House, a Riverina destination that’s home to guided whisky tastings and a café, restaurant, and bar for delicious fine dining.
Paired with fishing, a golf chipping range, and the picture-perfect lake at the centre of the property, it’s not hard to see why visitors are drawn to Whitton Malt House. Walk around the grounds to discover the sculpture park, gift shop, kitchen garden, and the lake’s centrepiece waterfall.
Your luxury lakeside villa is perched on Lake Hulong. Enjoy water views from your own veranda (complete with a Weber BBQ) and cosy living room from sunrise to sunset. For dinner, cook up a BBQ dinner or order from the restaurant. With its modern fittings, kitchenette, and private bathroom, your one- or two-bedroom villa will feel like home. You’ll want to stay as long as possible, especially with so much to see in the region.
Whitton is your starting point to visit neighbouring towns like Leeton and Griffith. Art Deco fans will enjoy strolling through Leeton with its charming buildings, and the Leeton Museum and Art Gallery is a must-see. Griffith boasts beautiful wineries, such as De Bertoli Wines, Yarran Wines, and Calabria Family Wines. The town’s larger-than-life wine bottle sculptures – representing some of the region’s famous blends – are well worth a photo! Visit Scenic Hill’s hiking trails and heritage-listed Hermit’s Cave or explore Cocoparra National Park. Annual events pay homage to the region’s Italian roots and strong food and wine culture, including the Spring Fest, Festa delle Salsicce (sausage), and Vintage Festival. Be sure to visit the iconic Bertoldo’s Pasticceria for gelato and cannoli—and bring some home for dessert!
