Hidden Valley Kununurra Caravan Park promises a nature escape in the heart of the East Kimberley region.
Camping in the Kimberley doesn’t get better than this, with shady, grassed sites for your tent, caravan, or campervan. Tropical palm, mango, and boab trees decorate the park’s 15 acres for the ultimate, relaxed atmosphere - especially when watching the rugged scenery change colour as the sun sets. All powered and unpowered sites are pet-friendly, so your four-legged friend is welcome on your Kununurra holiday. The park also has a range of studio cabins, which each has a kitchenette, bathroom, and air-conditioning, as well as a three-bedroom family unit with a full kitchen, bathroom, and air conditioning.
With so many incredible Kimberley experiences to enjoy – from boat cruises along the Ord River to day trips to the Bungle Bungle range in Purnululu National Park – the park has an on-site tour desk to make your bookings and get all the best local insights. There is a shaded pool to beat the heat, and BBQ areas to cook up your favourite camping recipes. Add in camp kitchen, laundry facilities, spotless amenities blocks, Wi-Fi access, free parking, and drinking water, and you’ll have everything you need for a smooth getaway.
Hidden Valley Kununurra Caravan Park is located on the edge of Mirima National Park, meaning all visitors have direct access to beautiful short walks. The park is also close to the popular, panoramic Kelly’s Knob Lookout. It takes less than five minutes’ drive to reach shops, art galleries, a supermarket, scenic spots, and the Saturday morning Kununurra Markets (from April to August). When it comes to waterfall spotting, don’t miss a swim in the refreshing pools beneath Molly Springs and Black Rock Falls. For 4WD drivers about to tackle the adventure of a lifetime on the Gibb River Road, Kununurra is an essential stop.
