Cape Jaffa Holiday Park promises a peaceful getaway, whether you’re casting out a line, relaxing on the beach, or sipping away at a local cellar door.
With direct access to the beach, their generously sized, grassed, powered and unpowered sites promise brilliant coastal camping. Sites are pet-friendly for most weeks of the year (excluding Easter weekend and select dates over summer), which means your pup can chill out in the shade beside you. If you’re more the cabin kind of traveller, the park has a small selection of self-contained accommodation, including one-bedroom ensuite cabins (sleeps 4) or two-bedroom standard cabins (sleeps 5).
Cape Jaffa Holiday Park has first-class facilities to ensure your trip goes smoothly. Enjoy the hospitality and tasty treats at their on-site kiosk, serving up coffee, pies, pasties, sausage rolls, ice creams, and more! There’s also a licensed bottle shop stocked with local wines, plus a convenience store where you can buy fishing bait and tackle, boat ramp permits, firewood, and fuel (diesel and ULP). Kids can have fun on the playground, and all the other practicalities – sparkling amenities, rainwater tanks, gas refills and SWAP’n’GO, and a laundry – are catered for. Cook up dinner with ease in the camp kitchen and BBQ area, then settle in beside the fire pit for a classic campfire.
There’s lots to do in the Limestone Coast, from four-wheel driving to walking in Bernouilli Conservation Park. Drive 20 minutes to reach Kingston SE (and its supersized lobster) or head south to the delights of Robe, just 30 minutes away. Seafood is a local specialty, from fishing adventures to crayfish diving. With the jetty just across the road from the park, you can easily fish away a day. As for what to pair with your fresh-from-the-sea delicacies, the local Mount Benson and Robe wine regions can help with that! Plus, if you’re up for a day trip, the famous Coonawarra Wine Region is about 90 minutes’ drive away.
For those in the middle of a road trip, Cape Jaffa Holiday Park is a great place to stop along the way when heading to Mount Gambier or the Great Ocean Road (though be warned, no stay here is ever long enough).
The reviews are in, and Cape Jaffa Holiday Park has certified coastal charm in spades - experience it yourself and book your stay today!
