Get ready for peace like no other at The Pelican Holiday Park in Nambucca Heads.
This park has a wide range of powered sites, including some right on the water’s edge. By evening, as the sun sets over the water, campers can hire a fire pit (with firewood available for purchase) to farewell the day with a campfire. Thanks to the park’s exclusive river frontage, there is also a variety of modern, one- and two-bedroom riverfront cabins waiting to be booked, along with standard cabins. In great news for four-legged friends, The Pelican Holiday Park is pet-friendly all year round on sites and select cabins.
On hot days, cool off in the in-ground swimming pool, which has a toddler-approved wading pool, or the river. The park’s camp kitchen must be among the most scenic in Australia, right on the riverfront with water views. That means you can cook up your BBQ lunch while watching the surface ripple as kayakers paddle past. You’re all set for holiday park conveniences, including a shop, amenities blocks, laundry machines, a dump point, and boat parking. Plus, with the river on one side of the park, and an easy, three-kilometre-long cycling path heading to Nambucca Plaza on the other.
Keen fishers are well resourced at The Pelican Holiday Park, with its private boat ramp, jetty, and pontoon beckoning them towards the water. Golfers can tee off at the local Nambucca Heads Island Golf Club, while mountain bikers should hit the Jacks Ridge Mountain Bike Track in Nambucca State Forest. Beach bums will have no trouble finding a stretch of sand that suits them, including Main Beach, Shelly Beach, and Beilbys Beach - and that’s just the ones in Nambucca Heads! Fans of waterfall spotting can spend a day on the scenic drive along Waterfall Way, or if you’re keen to head inland, Bowraville is a great town where you can explore the Frank Partridge VC Military Museum, Bowraville Folk Museum, and historic theatre. As for foodies (or those who simply want to take the night off cooking), delicious dining options can be found in Nambucca Heads, Macksville, and Valla Beach.
Why choose between the river and beach on your next holiday? You can have the best of both worlds at The Pelican Holiday Park in Nambucca Heads. Book your stay today!
