A visit to the capital city of Western Australia is always going to be filled with excitement and activity, so discovering a location that provides a convenient location and a range of accommodation and facilities is essential. Discovery Parks – Perth Airport is just that location. Conveniently situated an easy 15 minute drive from the airport, the park welcomes tourists, business travellers and adventurers arriving with the caravan or tent with equal warmth.
If you’ve flown in, or if you’re looking for a place to stay with everything you need already there, then you’ve got plenty of choice. All cabins are modern, spacious and fully self-contained. If you’ve arrived as a solo traveller for business or pleasure, choose from a Studio or 1-bedroom cabin, or one of the elegant Studio Rooms. All of the options provide a kitchen with everything you need to prepare your own meals, as well as a comfortable living space to relax in in the evening and pristine ensuite bathrooms. For larger groups or families of up to 5 people, there are a range of 2-bedroom cabins to choose from which provide plenty of space for everyone.
If you’ve arrived with the caravan or the tent, there are plenty of spacious sites available. These include drive through sites so you don’t have to go to the trouble of backing the caravan. And if you’ve arrived with your canine companion, you’ll be pleased to discover that all sites are pet friendly. There are even pet-friendly cabins available on request.
Park facilities include a swimming pool to cool off in, a games room for the kids and free WiFi so you can stay connected. There is also a camp kitchen and BBQs for you to prepare a meal and a kiosk where you can purchase any of those last minute or forgotten items.
Within half an hour of the park you’ll be in the centre of Perth itself where you can spend days exploring all of the museums, galleries and shops, not to mention all of the myriad of cafes and restaurants for you to try. You’re also a short drive from Fremantle where you can enjoy plenty of history in the 19th Century port streetscape, as well as discover a bargain at the famous ‘Freo’ markets. If you love food and wine, you’re an easy journey from the many wine growing regions in and around Perth, where you can taste some of the incredible wines for which Western Australia is famous.
No matter whether your day is filled with fun and discovery, or if you’ve had a tiring but successful day at work, you’ll be pleased to return each evening to Discovery Parks – Perth Airport. You can settle in to your cosy cabin, or take a glass of local wine out on to your balcony or outside your camp where you can watch the glorious sunset and soak up the ambience of the Darling Ranges foothills which surround you. Whatever the plan for the following day, you’ll be refreshed and ready for it after a comfortable night’s sleep at Discovery Parks – Perth Airport.
